Why this exists

I made the money. I made mistakes. I paid for advice. I still had to find the answers.

Your Money, Next began with a recurring retirement thought: you only get one shot at this. High stakes should produce more clarity, not a maze of calculators or a relationship that wakes up only when the client calls.

01

Built from the user's side of the table

I spent a career thinking about risk. I built wealth through work, saving, investing, and sticking with it. I also made bad choices, learned costly lessons, helped family, and lived with doubt.

I value having an expert to call. I do not like paying a growing fee while I do most of the thinking and start every talk. The price and the work should be clear.

02

The missing product is explanation

Many financial sites have too many calculators. Many firms hide useful tools behind a sales meeting. People get a number, but not a clear reason or next step.

This site starts with one household picture. Each input explains itself. Each what-if has one job. Each guide links to the official rule.

03

The business should align with the reader

The price should match the work. It should not rise just because your savings rise.

If we are ever paid for a product or referral, we will say so in plain language. You should know the cost, the conflict, and your other choices before you click.

The operating rules

Calm, legible, honest about the limits.

Explain every number. A person should know what an input represents, why it matters, and how it changes the result.

Show the assumptions. Growth, inflation, taxes, fees, longevity, and timing should never hide behind a score.

Protect the household. Collect less data, keep authorization on the server, and never ask for brokerage credentials to run a scenario.

Say what the tool cannot decide. Education, calculation, tax preparation, legal work, insurance advice, and fiduciary investment advice are different services.

See the idea working

Start with your numbers, then challenge the answer.
